Christensen alky carbs

Post by Chris Hamm » Tue Dec 20, 2011 3:58 am

I have a pair of Christensen alky carbs, probably still used today in vintage and IKF. The Christensen was the ideal and probably still is, though they are likely virtually impossible to find. The pair I have are in primo condition and are complete (including 1" Azusa stacks) with the exception of the throttle shafts and plates, but these should be easy to find (1" venturi) since Tilly built the basic carb body (the proprietary HL12C) for Christensen and they are stock Tilly parts. Christensen carbs were never equipped with choke plates/shafts. All Christensen carbs require an external mechanical fuel pump.

My problem is that I do not know how to price them. Do any of you folks running vintage or IKF know what these are worth? Some of you are probably using them today. Many thanks for any help you can provide.

SOLD

Are these the early ones that required an external fuel pump ?
