This is the first auction so lets see how it goes. Shipping is $10 to lower 48 states in US. Anyone that is anywhere else will pay actual shipping. I think Fed EX or UPS would be best but I'm not sure. I think USPS oversees is to slow. Tracking for overseas is a must. Payment by Pay Pal or Money Order is fine. Auction ends Sunday May 22 at 9:00 PM Eastern Std time. You can post your bid or PM me (there is a time & date stamp) if you don't want others to know who bid on the part. I will post what the highest bid is from time to time.

Lets have some fun with this :D .

First up is a Rack & Pinion steering gear. Starting price is $50. Condition is very nice with zero play but it has been used a little so it is not NOS. Cast into the body is GK - QM - 100 Hartman Eng Co, Montrose Calif. Cast into the cover plate is GK - QM - 101 Hartman Eng Co Montrose Calif. Has a few dings. Ends are tapped 3/8 fine, Rack is 1/2" sq, rack is 11 3/16 long, Steering shaft size is 1/2" mounting centers are , 3" x 1". Any questions just ask.

Hartmann sold his rack and pinion business to Red LeGrand who used them on small formula race cars he built. I think it would be worth quite a bit more to a LeGrand car owner trying to find a decent one.
