I need tanks for this kart

Post by josh carrell » Tue Jan 18, 2011 12:14 pm

I realize this will be difficult to find but I thought I would try it before I trash a perfectly good pair of Rupp chaparral side tanks. I bought this Lancer GTO from a friend and it needs tanks. I believe they are supposed to be steel. I will get the hole to hole measurements this week. Any help would be great or maybe someone could point me to someone.

As always any help will be greatly appreciated.
Email is rustymotors@yahoo.com

Thanks
Josh

hi josh,
do you have pix of the tanks.
if so post them as i have several pairs of enduro tanks that are orphans.
you might get lucky.
i'd sell them for a fair price if you could use them.

Josh, tanks also came on 1965 Rupp GPE's too, I traded mine to a friend for another kart. I can get you pics if that would help. Terry
