Guys-
I need a mcculloch manifold, reed cage and a stuffer. This is for a saw engine that I want to use on a kart.... excuse my ignorance, I'm still learning!

I also need a decent pair of tillotsons, nothing too fancy.

TIA
Chris

is there a good site or reference to learn about these engines?

Chris, check out http://macbobaust.com/saws1.html
A fun site by "McBob" that is a little hard to navigate, but has LOTS of chainsaw and karts/engines. You'll learn things... Also, look in the various tabs on the left of the REAR home page. There are illustrated parts lists there, and dozens of other resources. The manifold you picture is typical of earlier stock McCulloch units. Look on the back side of the crankcase near the stuffer flange. There may be a stamp there that tells the engine model. TJ

got a couple three of those i'd sell.
one complete with the reed block you'll need 15$ + shipping.
the stuffer you need will be either a super series or a regular mcculloch.
easiest way to check is the place where the coil mounts to the block.
if its a little nub on the top about 1/8 inch its a super.
if the support is more of a standoff about 5/8 of an inch its a mc91 style.
either one be 15 +shipping.
honestly you could do better buying on ebay and being patient they show up now and agian.
dave.
