WANTED: Percival fuel tank

I'm looking for a fuel tank for the older Percival Hellcat/Wildcat. The stub axle ones had a tank mounted on the rear of the seat which was shaped like a miniature fuel oil tank and held on with two straps. Any info anyone might have on locating an original or a source for a suitable replacement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all, Andy

Probably off an old, lawn mower, rototiller type of thing. Look around there are more thanks than you think.

Thanks Rob, I've been looking and there are lots of tanks available. I'm looking for that ONE which has the right shape, size and cap/petcock placement to work perfectly on the Percival mount.

Hi Andy,
I think I might have one. Right now I am using it as a test tank for my bench running but I could use anything for that. I have had this tank for years but am not sure it is off a Percival but it sure looks like it. I had a 1961 Percival that looks like it has the same tank. See Photo.
I can also send a couple photos and dimensions if you send me your email on a PM.
I'll wait to hear from you,
Scott

Thanks Tom, would be perfect but for the sizing: too wide at 10.5, needs to be 8.75. The Percival has brackets which project out from the seat back and I'm determined not to destroy them. Thanks for your time and efforts! Andy

That Dave Liebenthal guy from Engine Powered products out of Kansas had some for sale on Eslay. Pretty reasonable and new. Ck with him on the sizes, I think he has an Eslay store.
