We are looking for old, blown up, grooves up the back, holes through the block, busted, overbored, chrome falling off, scrap West Bend 610/820 or McCulloch (chainsaw or kart) blocks which will be turned into Block Clocks for the New Castle race. Contact Jeff Brown (Invaderjb@aol.com) or Rick Chapman (Rixkart@aol.com) to make arrangements. Or, I'll be at Barnsville, where you can bring them to me or send them with someone else who is going.
We'd appreciate any blocks you can spare.
Thanks Guys..
Jeff and Rick

Rick,
I see no replies so far. It may be just as many of us suspected. All of the old crappy blocks, are being put together with other crappy parts, and sold on Ebay. Seriously though, good luck locating a few. Mike

Could these be made with blocks from other engines? It's hard to part with good West Bend stuff.

Not only that, but Ed Sahagian can fix badly grooved blocks. Check out his website: http://www.fedcokarting.com

Hey guys..
I want those old unrepairable blocks.
The ones where rods went threw the sides, busted around the ports, badly ported blocks, chainsaw blocks that are not useable as Kart engines, etc.
McCullochs and West Bend 610/820 work the best.
I want those old blocks that are on the bottom of the scrap pile and the ones you pick up and ask yourself, why did I keep this???
Thanks..
We need your help.

Hey Rick, you may be in shock, but I have a block for your clock, in my personal stock. (my parents read Dr. Suess to me a lot, when I was a kid) 101B that was ventilated by the rod. The thing is.... I lost my rod bolt socket, so could you send me back the piston and points shroud? Alan

I found my rod socket and took all the parts off that were good. I'll be sending it Saturday. I feel good that this block will turn into a trophy than have someone weld it and fix it, then turn it on eBay. I've seen worse blocks end up on feeBay.

Do you need the heads and blocks or just the blocks? I might have a couple Macs kicking around.
