Power Products Color

Post by Doug Mayr » Wed Jan 06, 2010 6:00 pm

Can anyone help me with the correct color for a PP H58 engine?

Also, was the entire engine assembled first, then painted?
Or were the "Head & Block" bare metal, and just the shroud & starter painted?

Thanks!

I believe Dupli-Color DE 1605 Ford Red 500 degree is the right one.

Dart Kart Pics for early 1960's Karting World showed PP engines in white. Were they not 58's? One of my friends who raced had a PP in gun metal grey too, but he might have done a paint job himself. Tom

You're right Tom, some were white.

I have an original black one that was ordered with a new 1962 Fox kart.
