Wanted Early Rupp steering shaft

Post by Chris Marchand » Wed Feb 15, 2012 11:33 am

Need a steering shaft for a 60/61 Super K. Its the one that the 1/2 round Aluminum steeering wheel fits on . Tapered where the steering wheel fits and a 90 degree bend at the fulcrum point end where the tie rods connect. Thx Chris

I have one I don't use but it is threaded not tapered. I suppose you could taper it.

Tom , Its interesting that some were straight and threaded vs. tapered and threaded . This steering wheel is messed up at the taper and it needs Tig d and restored so I am going to get that taken care of first. It may end up a non tapered steering wheel , if so I will gladly take that shaft off your hands. Will know in a couple weeks. Thx Chris
