Thanks

Hi Josh. I don`t know for sure what brand these wheels are but did you buy this kart off of Craigslist in levenworth Ks? If that is the kart I think this was a early LANCER but again I`m not sure. Good luck with this one, Phil Riley.

Looks like the wheels from the early Bug karts. I have them on my Scorpion ESII. I think the name is "Hands".... others can confirm. I've never seen one with that kind of bearing setup.

yes I bought the kart in Levenworth. I have not seen it yet. I had my father-in-law pick it up for me, but I will not be back in KC until Christmas. The guy who had this kart sent me a few pictures but they were realy bad. I am still unsure of what I bought. as allways with craigslist, hope for the best and expect the worst :D I will post some pictures when I get it picked up.

The wheel definitely looks like a Hands from the early 60's. I found a picture of it in the '62 Steen's catalog. The list a couple of varieties one all aluminum and one that has a steel inner rim. Some of the early Hands wheels I've seen will be stamped Hands on the inner rim.

I'm only going with what i was told by but those are identical to my n.o.s. rims by Hands that a fellow named Dave out Kansas way sold me.
Some of you know who i'm talking about and he's been in Karting for a day less than forever.
anyway, the back of the rims are steel on mine with no name cast on the rim.

Unquestionably Hands.
Modified for a different bearing?

What size are they?
