The seller wrote " An original old racing kart from the 1960s, Chassis thought to have been imported from the USA in around 1964?

Has had engine plate, drive pully added for a Briggs and Stratton engine many years ago so the kids could use it.

The remains of the McCulloch racing engine are there.

Would make great display kart."

Just maybe there's a faint glimmer of hope for this old geeser yet.

McBob, looks like a very good start! :D Seriously tho it sorta resembles a Bear Cat but I do not remember the maker, just the model. Have fun. Tom

I would guess it is a 60's home made or small production Australian kart. The rear wheels look to be 4" with Olympic tyres, originally rib pattern that have either worn out or been recapped. The front wheels are 6" with Hardie slicks. Don't recall any US karts being equipped this way although wheels could have been changed.

Bearcat kart was made by Wahlborg?? and is vaguely similar, mainly the rear end.

Dart kart mmmmm.......
