Ladies and Gentlemen it is with great pleasure that we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 2009 running of THE BIG ONE presented by Rear Engine American Racers.

As in years past we will once again be returning to Fremont Raceway Park in Fremont Ohio on Labor Day weekend 2009 so please mark your calender now and start making your plans to enjoy the most fun filled weekend with the friendliest group of people in all of karting.

For any of you who have your eye on a "BIGGIE" for being choosen as one of the 'FANTASTIC 4' we would suggest from the quality of the machines that were present last year that you get the midnight oil burning because this year is expected to have the bar raised even further.

We will be periodically posting event up dates so keep you eyes peeled for the latest info on some of the new and exciting activities we have also planned for the 2009 event.

Rob 'N' Bob, Charlie and I will be there with carb problems fixed, 2 "new" karts, and new power on the Van Tech! I'm so glad that your efforts will allow us to share this very nice facility with all the other fantastic people. Thank you once again! Ted

I will also be there with two new Fox karts and the posibility of a third other brand kart if everything goes as planned. All three will be show quality but can be ran to qualify for the Biggie award. Hopefully others will take up the challenge and we'll see a lot of neat stuff.

Great to hear you fellows will be returning, its truely a pleasure to have you in attendence. Great to hear also that you'll be showing everybody some new iron. Can't wait to see your latest.

Just a little reminder to everyone that to make the 'FANTASTIC 4' you do NOT have to have a show quality restored kart. If your kart runs, its American thru and thru and it exemplifies the machines that were run during the early days of the hobby you will be in the hunt. Shiney or Greasy don't matter, if its cool, you have a shot.
