'COOL PART of KARTING'

Post by REAR » Sat Sep 13, 2008 6:49 pm

Once again as Rear Engine American Racers continues to lead the way in the promotion of Americas early karting heritage we are proud to annouce that we will now make the 'COOL PART of KARTING" a annual feature at THE BIG ONE.

What started out as a contest quickly turned into a friendly display of some of the most unique and rare parts from the early days of karting. Rather then choose one part as the COOL PART winner, everyone agreed that there are just too many parts out there that need to be seen by all in the R.E.A.R. engine karting community and that they should all be shared with everyone who enjoy this great hobby of ours.

We would like to THANK all of you who helped make this new addition such a huge success this year. Your participation with a very limited notice showed that the R.E.A.R. engine karting enthusiast stands for and is up to the challenge of perserving the history of karting in America. The responded to the 'COOL PART' with some great parts, toys, litature, and documents is a true testiment to your commitment and dedication to our hobby.

Thanks again to all who participated and we look forward to next years displays.

R.E.A.R.

They're shown in the Banquet pictures, but I don't remember which photo set (1,2,3 or 4) they're in.
