International Guests at THE BIG ONE

At this years running of THE BIG ONE we were very fortunate to once again be able to host guests from two foreign countries.

First off, we were again honored to have the classyest gentlemen in all of karting, Mr. Frank Weir with us again in attendence this year. For those of you have never had the pleasure of meeting Frank in person I can honestly say that Frank is one of the nicest fellows you will ever want to encounter and he carries the passion for the early iron of karting like very few can. In the past Frank has also bestowed many a written article about THE BIG ONE in 'KARTING' magazine, the oldest continual running karting publication in the world. To you Mr. Weir, Thank you so much for attending again. We hope your attendence will become a annual thing.

We were also fortunate enough this year to have Mr.Graeme Barwick along with his lovely wife Janice join us. Graeme is involved with the vintage karting scene in Australia and he made the trip state side to see what this thing called REAR engine karting is all about.

Graeme also is super nice fellow and we hope we made him feel welcome by offering quite a few rides in various karts and even presented him with a REAR GEAR souvenir package for some memories of not only the event but Americas hospitality as well.
