I have a US820 chamber on my Copperhead / Vintage engine and have removed the outer muffler section now there appears to be a second and shorter inner tubed baffle on the end of the secondary cone ........ now if i remove this second and smaller tubular section and fit a stinger that i can tune then what size in diameter should it be ??

You really have it easy compaired to karting. You operate in a narrow RPM range.
I would make a clamp for the cone and make stingers of diffrent lengths and ID's and just try them.

Do you move the flex any? Do you know what moving the flex does?
Have you messed with tapered headers any?
What RPM range do you operate in?
I think you could do much better than that spec pipe for a 820.
What is your port timing?
Compression ratio?
Squish band?
Head angle?

I think i'll stick to women they give you a reason to live in a shed .....

I have the pipe its a US820 THINGYBOB with the US820 on it in weld i have removed the outer and inner part of the muffler and fitted a stinger pipe the same diameter as the end of the rear cone now am i cooking with gas or what ??

P.S the woman manages my library thats why i'm not inside long enough to read a book.
