We have just been informed by the staff at THE BIG ONE event headquarters, the Fremont Holiday Inn that the motel has been sold and it is no longer listed as a Holiday Inn franchise motel. The new name is and please make note of this, THE FREMONT INN. Try to remember this in you travel plans but don't fret, the location is the same only the name has changed.
This is actually great news since with this name change the new owners have been hard at work on a renovation of the motel and we are very fortunate to be the first ones to enjoy the remodeling of the suites. If you have attended THE BIG ONE in the past you already know that this was a top tier motel and with these upgrade the accomadations will become even nicer.
Don't forget that you only have a few days left to make your reservations at the special discount rate that Rear Engine American Racers has reserved for Labor day weekend. So please hurry.
Remember also that in order to get the special discount room rate you must mention THE BIG ONE and R.E.A.R.
This years event is shaping up to be another great get together and by the names we were able to view on the current reservation list it appears all of everyones old friends will be in attendence along with quite a few new faces.

The Holiday Inn is being remodeled. Because of that and some strange Holiday Inn policy they are going under the name Fremont Inn. Same place etc.... but if you try to call the Holiday Inn they won't say they have a motel there. Just call the # in the above post.
I've been getting lots of calls from new people, and this year is shaping up to be a great new year with lots of new faces! Who knows might be record breaking.....the worlds largest gets even bigger!
