Re: What Auction???????
That's one sweet early Bug Wasp! Better tighten up your belts and check your bank accounts before bidding on this beauty 'cos all the big guns are coming out for this one. All you bargain hunters better just stay home!

Re: What Auction???????
Too bad they removed the dual Mc-10s it had on it. That kart was completely original until some pinhead took the engines off it.

Re: What Auction???????
It's my understanding that they plan to still sell items on their website, but will be putting some items on Ebay.

Re: What Auction???????
the pinhead that removed the 10s is the current owner. He put them on the nice Rathmann that was purchased with this collection and sent to Holland. I saw the Bug before it was stripped and it was a nice survivor with the ultimate equipment. Too bad it was split up.

Re: What Auction???????
I tried to buy the Bug - here it is before the MC10's were pulled. Would have been a nice ride!.

Re: What Auction???????
Frank, I worked at a kart shop that had loads of brand new Bugs and Go Karts that nobody wanted so we took all the Mc-10s off them and put PP AH-47s on them and sold them as yard karts for $75.00 each. I remember stacking them up on their rear bumpers and filling a dump truck up with them to take and pawn off at a car show! Tom

Re: What Auction???????
I wonder what the reserve was ?
If this is an indication of the pricing that is expected , well I guess that will put a good share of us out of the game .
