Maybe we should all stop bitching.

Yes, there has been problems, but.......

There has been time that I have thought about calling up the local scrap yard,
and unloading inventory just to spite some of the A wholes I have to deal with on eBay.
I have thrown some of it away,
and given other stuff to local kids who never go to eBay.
Then I take great pleasure in telling the cry-babies
that "sorry, it's all gone".

I wouldn't be supprized if Zoe were to do that down the line.
If she finds some other way to pull in the extra money
she gets from dealing with us old geezers,
she may just dump the junk........
And not were any of us would ever find it.

It's out there somewhere, goodness , McCulloch made alot of engines, and spare parts. A MC-91 series spare block is very common, seems alot were made, and sold. Two MC-91A engines I have had replacement blocks. Some stuff is getting harder to get though, like the carb kits, when you do find them they are expensive. Terry Ives has some reproduction engine parts like pistons, and I see all kinds of goodies at the Vintage meets.

I will say there has been alot of buying and selling of Macs in the past 4 years that has driven up the prices a bit, and the availlability of some critical parts has been affected by this. I think alot more McCullochs are being restored now than 5 years ago, and like the post above mentions, some of the bigger stashes have been whittled down or sold out.

So the stuff is still out there, but now it's a bit more scattered and being used up to restore engines. I for one ain't selling anything as a result.

But hey, why don't you buy the three NIB/NOS MC-101Bs for $3700.00? That would make three killer saws! :D

At that price and in standard condition i'd be the last at the end of the race Jay i'm better off buying pistons and ring sets and reboring old blocks as then the good stuff will be available for some weathy Karter but not me ..... i come from the wrong end of town.
