THE BIG ONE 2026

Rear Engine American Racers will be hosting THE BIG ONE in 2026.
The 25th. annual running of THE BIG ONE will once again take place on Labor Day weekend Friday September 4th. thru Sunday September 6th. 2026 at Fremont Raceway Park in Fremont Ohio. This year's event will add another year to our history as the longest running Historical Karting event in the world.
As we mark our 25th anniversary something special is in order and we are honored that the generous folks at Max-Torque have stepped up to provide us with just what we need. This year the Saturday free lunch will be provided by Max-Torque and it will be prepared under the culinary services of M-T's own Clutch Guru, Master Chef, and all around Good Guy Mr. Jim Donavan together with help from Tuscon Vintage Play Days promotor and Head Chef Dean Kanocz. Sundays free lunch will return to our traditional Lee's Chicken Dinner.
The weekend activities start off on Friday September 4th. with early move-in and pit set up along with the start of the weekend long swap meet. NO karts will be run on Friday however, this is a chance to meet and greet your fellow enthusiast and maybe even find a deal or that one elusive part you have been chasing. Saturday morning the track will open for the weekend.
