The 2025 edition of THE BIG ONE brought a bevy of outstanding karts to the meet and as usual it is a tough task to pick 4 individual machines that best exemplified the early days of Karting. Through a careful review and discussion amoung our secret panel of judges the following karts were chosen as to what would best represent what was out on the track back in the day. Some of the karts were fully restored, some were not but they all displayed the ingenuity of the manufacturers of the early era of karting all the way to the genius of the karter himself who assembled what he could from various parts and pieces in his garage.
Below in no order are the 2025 Fantastic 4.

The annual 'Achievement' award goes to a individual who puts the hobby of Historical Karting and his or her fellow karter on the top of their list above themselves and makes a gesture or a donation to make Historical Karting truely memorable to someone. This year we are honored to award this honor to Joe Kiene of Bluffton Ohio for a generous donation on a Power Products AH-58 which was won by Rick Violet of Wooster Ohio. Joe also won a Fantastic 4 'BIGGIE' and in doing so he is the first person to capture both a Fantastic 4 and the Achievement award in the same year.
Thanks not only to these gentlemen for sharing their karts with all of us but Thanks also to the many others who attend and shared their karting histories with all of us.
