Thanks Tom & Frank-

I have always had to anneal the head gasket for the Brit motorcycles I've worked on, (and I realize those are copper and not aluminum) so I was just wondering if that was the case when reusing the old aluminum gasket on the Mc6.

Thanks,
Dean

Frank, I have plenty of early saw blocks that still have perfect plugs and all the nuts and nut clips Etc. If you want a couple let me know.
A couple years ago at Adams Dick Connors had one of the plugs fall out of his stroked Mc-10 and he asked me if I had any extras which I didn't but I decided that if we snuck over to Vinces' junk pile with a punch and hammer we could most likely procure one from a block. As far as I know that plug is still in the Mc-10 and Dicks' buddy Marty is going to run it again at Bakersfield in a couple weeks. That was BIG FUN for me.
I used to tap the blocks and screw in AN port plugs. They never blew out. Tom
