1958/59 Sears David Bradley Racer Kart

Post by Jim Bubb » Tue Oct 31, 2023 6:14 pm

Thought I'd share my current project. It's a 1958/59 Sears David Bradley Racer Kart. I do know it was raced in south central Pennsylvania and central Maryland. It has its original AH47 engine. Kart was built for twin engine but this one only ever had one.

Looks like a lot of it was bolt together. Did it fold flat for shipping?

Unfortunately no photos.
It is completely bolt together, only welded part is the seat back to the seat frame and the rear axle bushing. From what I've learned it was sold as a kit that you assembled at home. Sold with either single or twin Tecumseh/Power Products AH47 engines.
