Went out to do some on-site work on a commercial mower and ended up dragging this home. Looks 70's to me but unsure.
Any ideas?
TIA,
Lawrence

Hard to tell from those pictures but it looks like a Dart front axle, side rails and old tubing. Fame rails and steering hoop look all wrong.

Re: Can you ID this for me?
Apparently this was a 1966 Rupp A-Bone. Now that it's stripped I'm looking for dimensions and pictures of what I need to do to bring it back to what it's supposed to be.
Anyone have pictures of a bare frame?
The white painted parts appear to be larger diameter tubes slid over the original ones then welded at each end.
The entire front end has been "modified".
For some reason someone put steering arm extensions on the column and cut the arms off on the spindles. It was so quick it was dangerous. That, and they mounted the band brake backwards so it didn't do much for slowing you down. Needless to say my test drive was exciting. With the 6.5 HP engine it would do about 35 mph and we live on dirt roads, lol!
TIA, Lawrence

Re: Can you ID this for me?
I think it's a Dart front axle and spindle hangers. Back looks like a Clark 440 fun kart. Side rails are wrong for a dart & I'm not sure what the Clark side rails look like. Then long frame rails making the wheel base extended.
Re: Can you ID this for me?
Dart front axle spindle hangers but the front axle / wishbone is something else with the little hoop over the bottom of the steering shaft.

Re: Can you ID this for me?
Okay, thanks for the info.
I guess I'll just kind of "clean it up" and see where it ends. I'd just like to restore to a point where someone can have a fun kart to run around in.
