I remember seeing this first model kart listed in the Radio Shack catalog. No foolin'.

The kart I recall from the catalog was the original Ingals/Borelli design with non-drop spindles, hand brake, etc. Just like the pic. posted here. I was a kid and thought seeing a "little car" in the catalog was cool.

Interesting that as a race car builder Art would choose a handbrake on his kart over a more conventional automotive designed footbrake.
