Saw this before possibly here. Looks like a child's toy. Hard wheels & steering wheel that is out of proportion.

The rear axle is out of a different model Simplex with side mounts. Yours appears to be a dual frame with a dual side mount rear axle.. I didn't even know they fit. Looks to have an aluminum bolt in floor pan not the steel welded in floor pan. It also has the heavy steel petals. Is the steering wheels rubber dipped? I think you have the front married to a different back end. Tom Thorin is the everything Simplex expert.

No rubber on the wheel, I talked with Tom and he said it was a Mark X This is another I have.

I’ll share with others what I learned on the Black Simplex.
What I have is a 1961 Mark10 Aluminum floor pan, dual brakes, dual engine mounts over the axle 6” real wheels 5” front wheels. Direct from Tom T.
