Modern production Go-Power Wheels question

Post by Adrian Labetti » Thu Oct 27, 2022 10:07 am

Hey guys,
Not sure if anyone here is aware, but GoPowersports, a popular go kart-mini bike shop, currently makes brand new Go-Power Wheels you can order on their site. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them and if they are the same as the old ones (i belive they are based on the GPW type 2 wheels, not the type 1s). are they worthy of being put on a vintage kart? or are they just for yard karts and such?

Link to the site: https://www.gopowersports.com/gopowerwh ... step-down/

Thanks,
Adrian

This is a real bummer. Wheels look pretty nice however most live axle karts use a 5 inch wheel not a 6 inch wheel.

Sure but it might raise the ground clearance. Most 5" tires are about 1" shorter in height than 6" tires. So your axle will be 1/2" higher.
