Re: Tilloston HL-304E
As Scott said, a real 304E is a great carb. They go for $100 plus.
I have had some good luck with Tillotson knock-offs, so I may try one for 304 at about $40

Terry.
Thats the carb that I'm interested in also, the Ebay 40 buck one.
Guess I will have to get one and give it a go.

Re: Tilloston HL-304E
Do you mean the holes on the mounting flange?
They usually have the right spacing between the holes, but the holes are larger and they supply plastic bushings to
bring them down for the typical 1/4 stud on the manifold.

Drill pattern is under the welch plug and fuel feed holes behind the needles.

Don't know.
I guess I'll get one for my big Clinton. Something like 8.59 Cu Inches!

Re: Tilloston HL-304E
Just bought this one. A little smaller venturi - 20mm vs 22mm for 304E.
Hard to beat the price.
We'll see if it actually GENUINE?

Re: Tilloston HL-304E
Here it is.
Came in a real Tillotson box with a Made in China sticker on it.
The carb has Tillotson and 'Made in Ireland' on the casting.
Similar to other knock-offs I have seen.
