Hi all,
Just picked up this kart and I thought it was a Rupp Lancer, but I have had a few people mention that it may be a pre-Rupp Lancer out of FIndlay, Ohio.
Is there any identifying way to tell? Anyone have info if it is an early Lancer?
Thanks,
Rob

Re: New Project ID
Yes it is a Big J Lancer, pre Rupp by a couple years, with the small diameter tube frame that allows it to flex and really handles nicely. Others will have more details Iam sure ! Nice find.
Re: New Project ID
Is it 3/4" front and 1" rear tubing? Is it straight back after the seat or bent in at the back?

Hi, the front and rear tube is 3/4".
1" around seat to axle, which does taper in.
Thanks

There was a 4 cycle more of a fun kart and a single engine racing kart. The single tapered in behind the seat. It's just like my orange Lancer with the 580 WB but I didn't have the welded mount.
