Sure wish I could attend. I'd like to drive the old place one more time, and I'd like to see how the Photon would fare in the Biggie lineup. At least we'll HOPEFULLY see Bob at Tucson in November. Ted
Re: THE BIG ONE update
Just got done sorting thru the giveaway stuff and there are some very nice items that some lucky drivers will be taking home.
We are always looking for donations also. Remember, this whole deal is about supporting and giving back to the historical karting community.
See you Labor Day weekend.

Weather is spot on fantastic on Friday and scheduled for all weekend as people were setting up dropping trailers, buying & selling parts, etc........ Great to see everyone with smiles. Some interesting items showed up and some were for sale. Like a Ford "FOMOCO" go kart gas cap!

Re: THE BIG ONE update
I hope the weather treats all of you very well. All the years Charlie and I attended, we never were rained out. There were some wet hours, but we dried, the track dried and we all got to run and to enjoy everyone's company. We always had Al Klusman and Jack Canady pitted next to us, and we formed a lasting friendship over those weekends that will last as long as we do.
Good luck to the Biggie hopefuls! Winning a tiny Biggie trophy is a very Big deal. I was lucky over the years and I have two of them on my bedroom window sill. They are the only trophies on display of all the trophies 62 years of karting has brought.
Rob and Bob have done Vintage Karting a fantastic service over the years. A big "Thank You!" to them.
Have fun and be safe.
I will try to attach a pic of the 2008 Biggie lineup. Front to back, (I believe) Rick Raetz, Al Klusman, me and Charlie Craibe.

Re: THE BIG ONE update
With Frank not being able to make it this year Bob judged the show. I'm glad, as there were many very nice karts there this year that were special for one reason or another making the judging very hard.
