It would be stuck by the time he shut it off if there wasn't oil, but it looked pretty lean.

What leads you to think he didn't have oil in his gas? No smoke?. The ident tag clearly says how much oil to use. TJ

The fuel line is hooked up to a Thumper fuel tank.

Yes, bitchin Thumper tank setup!

Makes me want to bolt a H35 short block, plastic " Thumper" tank and orange tie strap to the seatback of my Rupp!

Kinda like the snowblower tank as original equipment on this Sears kart.

Pretty sure The PuttNik Dude runs some power equipment tanks and they look pretty cool.

Let me put it this way, I'll take a old steel lawn mower tank over a Mycron gauge any day.

Steel, si, plastic, no! Charlie Craibe bought Pop's old dual A400 Bug,(I believe that's where the frame came from), triangulated the back end and added the PP-58 hanging upside down, a live axle and the mower tank up front. Oh, yeah, the Dico front wheels were around our shop as well. All this was in late '60. TJ
