Rear Engine American Racer is proud to announce that we will once again be hosting THE BIG ONE at Fremont Raceway Park in Fremont Ohio in 2021. This years event will be marking the events 20th Anniversary and the 23rd. Anniversary of Rear Engine American Racers.
If you have any interest in the history and the roots of karting this event is your chance to revisit the founding years of karting in a fun filled festival like atmosphere that is often copied but never duplicated. Come on out and witness the early machines from the days gone by returning to their former glory being not only displayed but hot lapped together with a huge swap meet, and much much more.
With Covid-19 still looming we will try to keep you updated of any possible changes as the event date draws near. The 2020 running of the event was very well attended and went very smoothly so we do not see any issues at this time and in the forseeable future related to the 2021 event.
Please note that there will NO early move-in on friday again this year. Last year we implemented this change and it created no problems for anyone. There is plenty of space and time for everyone to get a pit location before the daily activities start. Pit space as always will remain free of charge.
Keep your eyes on this website and this website only for event updates and please do NOT go to facebook, contact the track or anyone other then R.E.A.R. officials directly by phone or thru this site for accurate event info.
Check the R.E.A.R guidelines for the simple kart specifications and regulations. We 'Run em like they Ran em'.
Mark the Labor Day weekend, September 4th. and 5th. on your calendar now and start making your plans for the best time you will ever have in karting.
