i.d these rupp karts please

Post by david a luciani » Sun Apr 13, 2008 1:48 pm

hi all,

i just bought three more rupp frames.
one seems complete but damaged/modified the guy said it's a 61 rupp.
my questions:
is this a 61 rupp?
what model?
is the steering shaft and steering wheel original?
the corner gussets were obviously added but the front hoop/bumper looks wrong to me is it?
the front axle was "fixed with a torch" on the left side so the axle is getting replaced.
the right spindle is bent i have a spare one but to me the part looks fixable any comments?
the rear axle is a "custom" 3/4" rig that'll be going into a wagon or something.
the axle original mounts are unmolested ececpt for a tab that was ground off the tube for axle mounts.

i have other pix on photobucket.com under drottoconndave if you want to look.
the blue one (on photobucket) seems to be a fun kart that's been sectioned and stretched..
on the blue one, i wonder if it's worth saving or just a parts donor.
the black one only has any value from the seat back as the rest is just a diy job poorly done.
thanks for any help dave
