Avon Antique and Historics Event Postponed

Post by Scott Kneisel » Sat May 16, 2020 7:08 am

Hi All,
The three promoters met yesterday at the track and made the decision to postpone this event. Right now there are too many unknowns as to what we can do as far as events go. Our club can't begin racing until the end of June so it is doubtful we could get permission to have our event.
We will look at the NE and mid west schedules and see if we can fit in a date that doesn't interfere with other events even though this event being a true antique and historic event will attract a different type of karter than the "racing events"
I will post a new date as soon as we decide.

Take care and stay safe,
Scott, Sam and Tom

We are still hoping to have this event but right now the restrictions on our facility are very stringent and wouldn't allow for much of any event. We are hoping that as we get into June things will change enough for the event to proceed.

We will make a decision and post it no later that June 1st so stay tuned.

As things stand now we were given the go ahead to run practice sessions with only 10 karts and 10 pit crew at a time on the property. We start split sessions by reservation next weekend.

Better than nothing I guess.
