While walking around checking out some of swap meet stuff at the 2019 BIG ONE it dawned on me that the old karts had a really cool diversity of wheel styles that were used. Below are a few of the different wheels that I seen.























I'm sure there were others that I missed.

Couple side notes.

Hard to believe there is not a shot of a 'Go-Power'. Very popular wheel especially with enduro racers that were used for very many years due to their light weight.

Azuza made a 'early' and a 'late' Tri-Star with the early model sporting ribbing.

The Rupp 'knock off' wheels were some of the coolest.

Back in the "day", if you didn't have Go Power wheels, you weren't anybody. We sold probably five Go Power wheels to one of all other brands. The CT Alloy wheels from Chuck Trantham were by far the lightest wheels, but were fragile. When CT began making them of aluminum, they were still as light as the Go Power magnesium wheels. 6th wheel from top is what I have on my dead axle 58 Handock Diesel. I believe they were aircraft wheels but they are heavy so not sure.

Anyone know what the bottom picture wheel is? Looks like Margay rims bolted to a hub I am not sure of.
