Shipping a kart?????

How much is this usually. Has to go about 1200 miles

What company do I use?

Do I crate it!!

Any info is appreciated.

Forward air has motorcycle crates you can rent. It's a pain building a box to ship. Good safe way with combination locks so the buyer can open on his end. A few straps & your good to go.
Greyhound ships but I have had damage and will not use them anymore.
There are guys that simply haul stuff around the country but they get paid also.

I ended up using uShip. Got it shipped for $341. Painless! Came in a enclosed trailer! Loaded it. Strapped it down. Done!

I found a nice kart in Portugal, I wanna get it using a shipping service but I can’t decide if it's better to do this online or go there and deal with the shipping stuff personally. I will go to Portugal in 2 months in order to look for some apartments to buy in Algarve so I'm thinking about taking the kart and dealing with the shipment by myself but also I don't wanna wait that long.
