TBO 2019 Thanks

Post by REAR » Tue Sep 03, 2019 7:02 pm

On behalf of Rob Voska and myself, Bob Kurkowski I would like to take this opportunity to offer our Thanks to everyone who helped to make this years running of THE BIG One another huge success. When we say "everyone" that means everyone from our loyal sponsers, to our dedicated workers, and to all of you who are willing to invest your time, your travel, and your commitment to support a hobby that has brought one of the best groups of people together in all of karting.

It is hard to believe that the 2019 running of THE BIG ONE has come and gone marking our 18th year but as long as you folks want to continue to show your support for America's early days of Karting and share your passion and friendships we are honored and happy to say, "Thank You to everyone who attended this years event and we hope we will see you all again next year".

Ann & I had a great event. I talked more than I usually do so I assume that this was good. I sold out of FOX pedals and some spare engines that I've had too long. Will try and be back next year, god willing.

Sounds like a great time was had by all. Wish we could have made it, will be there for sure next year. Hoping to see some pictures from the event soon. Young friend and his son had a great time with their Xterminator and Blitz. Thanks to all who welcomed them and gave assistance.

I'd like to thank Rick Neal for prepping my kart, sorry it don't turn right. First time I have been able to make laps at The Big One in longer than I can remember. I wanted to make a lap with Chris's MC1 just so I could say I did but just not enough time. Thanks to everyone that pitched in to lend a hand where needed. Glad we had a fun safe event again this year.

I'll take you up on that Chris! So many cool karts! My hats off to everyone for restoring & preserving the heritage of the glory days of karting. The new stuff has no soul just stickers.

Terry,

Your "TBO is the only event I went to this year, need I say more" comment sounds like something the most interesting man in the world would say in a Dos Equis beer commercial.

Thanks to you and the whole Sullivan gang for coming out.
