I hope I didn't hurt a vintage kart. Originally a dead axle kart, field/barn find. I put a live axle on before I realized old karts were a thing. It had a 1983 Briggs engine on it. I'm not sure it's the original engine. Just looking for an idea of the year the kart could have been from or was it a kit? Sad, as a lover of old and historic items, I may have cut and welded on something antique/vintage.

Dave,

Thanks for coming on board. If you enjoy old karts from the 60's you've come to the right place. Have a look around but be careful, these old racers can be very addictive.

Your kart appears to be a 'fun' kart. which are pretty standard fare. No racing pedigree but enjoy it for what it is.
