Post by Rick Chapman » Thu Mar 27, 2008 9:59 am

Has anyone called L.A.D. Specialties (708-430-1588) and asked them whether they have gaskets, reeds or head gaskets for Mac', 820, foreign engines in their back room?? Don use to make these parts and he sold carbs parts, too...

Rick,
Have had several opportunities to deal with LAD Specialties and every one has been a new experience in true customer satisfaction. If you have an obsolete gasket and can duplicate the outline and punches accurately they will make you some. Autocad is the best but an undistorted zerox will work. When you tell them what you want, that's what they will make. So be very clear.
They still list Mac stuffer, manifold and other case gaskets on the site and will have no difficulty with any of your needs.
The last order I received was for a Petry rotary someone found laying under a bench in the Sonoran desert, The LAD packages I recieved didn't even have shelf dust and everything was perfect.
