I got a hold of the engine builder too late and it has the compression release. No worries there with the recoil now. It's a small black button that releases when the engine starts seems like it will be handy for me. I'm 64 and not as strong as I used to be hahaha. A big thank you shout out to Ted for his help upgrading my clutch to the proper one. And to Jim Donovan for kindly offering me the parts I need for it. Looking forward to meeting Jim while he's in town.
I heard he's the king of karting. No offense to any other experience karters here of course. Looking forward to meeting all of the Vintage karting guys at the big one. Try not to run over me on my bug Kart, as I'm a newbie LOL merry Christmas mark

I don't want to scare anyone but I put a recoil on an 820 once. Pulled the rope 2 times, removed it and never looked back. and that was with the compression release head. :)

Mark,

You have plenty of room, can still see the floor.

Always remember the golden rule....there is no such thing as too many projects.
