A400 uses bronze bushing bearings everywhere.
The A490 has a ball bearing on the PTO side of the crank. A few special models could have a needle bearing on the flywheel side.
Most Clinton chainsaws have ball bearings on the PTO, needles on the flywheel side and needles on the big end of the rod.
