Time for a new sport.
Following the trend of a major seller on e-bay who's prices are astronomical, I'm wondering whats going on.
I hope this sport doesn't descend into a greed based cutthroat business occupied by the types wanting parts listed as gifts so they can drag honest guys into they're scheme of beating paypal out of their commission.
This saddens me, for it's a blot on our great sport.

Too the guy's in it like myself for fun and relaxation, beware!
*example; $169 for a Covico steering wheel, on a buy it now.
The wheel was a freshly produced Covico one could buy for $77, it was listed under Vintage.

Dominic,

Your not alone but there is no need to get upset, if you feel something is too expensive just don't buy it. Personally I am not afraid to even view things as too expensive for me and I have never let high prices bother me because sooner or later I have found what I needed at the price I wanted to pay.

A lot of the fun with this hobby in its infancy was to see what you find for next to nothing, well those days are pretty much over because of the simple fact that people have been searching for old karting items going on close to 20 plus years now so that old 'supply and demand' thing sometimes shows its ugly head but you need to take it in stride.

Like those girls from Sweden say "keep on keepin on" and remember theres that Karma thing too.

The subject got ironed out in real time a few days ago on a vintage kart sight.
It wasn't pretty but the things that needed to be said, were said.
Some of the guy's dictating prices need to be reeled in a bit when the line for honesty gets blurred in a effort for profit.
Clearing the air sometimes has a profound affect.
