Kart value

Post by Robert Salus » Sat Oct 28, 2017 4:27 pm

Good Afternoon:

I have a go kart that my father had won back in 1962 and I was trying to determine it's value.

It's a Simplex Challenger with a west bend 58012. I would say for it age, it's in excellent condition. I know when we used it last, about 25 years ago, it was working fine. I would bet this cart has less than 40 total hours on it.

Can anybody please tell me what this might be worth?

It's one of the later karts with side mount plates rear axle assembly. Are wheels broken or chipped? It's missing the original tank & that hurts it a lot.

That's a five port West Bend, so that helps the engine value a ton. TJ

Looks like it made it over to Ebay.
