MOSS KART

Post by Phil Riley » Sat Mar 08, 2008 10:52 pm

Hi guy,s. There is a MOSS KART restoration on the R.E.A.R. site. Does anyone know what the wheelbase and the front and rear treadwidth was on these karts? Also the tubing diameter, it looks smaller then 1" but I can`t tell. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks Phil.

Hi Phil,
According to the June 1960 issue of Karting World magazine, kart test #4 of the Moss Kart, wheel base was 46.75", front tread width-33.50",and rear tread width-34.25"
Not sure of tubing diameter.
John

Thanks John. The dimentions were a great help. I forgot to ask the total width, outside at the front and rear of the frame. Does anyone know? Thanks again, Phil
