Man, here it is March 15, and we're already getting excited! We met so many great folks last year; Rob 'n' Bob, Al and Jack, Bob Lapke, Hanson and Randy and family, Brian and Dottie, Dan the Flandoman, Hank and Marylin Rotroff, Pearl Gamble, Ron and Sue and so many more. Will have a bigger steering wheel on the Sprint this year so it can actually be driven! Tubing is in the shop for bending on the repops, so,???
Rob, I took the plate to Water Jet Cutting yesterday, and performed requested operation towards Eclipse office across the street! I hope there was somebody in there to receive "finger"! Cheers, Ted

Hey, Al! Would you believe I've lost some of that tummy? I think I will design a flat butterfly wheel sort of "cranked" upward from horizontal to give extra clearance. The hard part is the grips. I can waterjet cut the center section, but the grips have to be machined and black anodized. So, I guess it DOES have the belly clearance! Maybe I will begin selling them as "Belly Wheels". Charlie and I look forward to you and Jack at TBO! You guys are a blast! Cheers! Ted

Cut out the pattern and use a broom stick split and bolted on sanded and varnished like they used to. It would be cool.

How about fancy walnut dowel split? Wish I had a bandsaw. Actually I COULD make the grips straight instead of curved... I bought 2 Covico 12" wheels yesterday for the Swoopsters. Rexmarine, $54 each with stainless spokes! Cassell Marine, SAME wheel for $190! Beware! Have a good weekend, everyone! Ted

We will hopefully be finalizing everything early this week.

Working out the details do to corporate accusitions, transfers, contact promotions etc. has really made this job of securing a discount motel rate a constant walk through a revolving door and has brought new meaning to the phrase 'phone tag'.
