Jeff Brown's announcement of Duffy Ligingstone's passing https://www.vintagekartforum.com/showth ... p?tid=1683
on the Vintage Karting forum should sadden all lovers of karting. Duff was a gentleman, a driver's driver, and one of the main men in karting's beginning. It was my pleasure a few years ago, when Lynn Haddock brought Duff to TBO, to share his lunch table with him at Jack Canady's and Torque Klusman's pit. It's been a good 60 year+ ride, Duff. Thanks! Ted

Re: Passing of Duff Livingstone
Sad to hear of the passing of one of our pioneers of karting. I will bring a nice example of a survivor Go Kart 800 to TBO this year. Along with the other requests for this year's event let's get as many Go Kart brand karts out there as we can.

Re: Passing of Duff Livingstone
I was at TBO when Mr. Duffy Livingstone attended, to have him spend the time he did with me telling the history of how he started "Go Kart" and to have read the stories in early 1960's Karting World magazines was a akin to catching a Mantle or Maris home run ball. Nuff said, RIP to a legend!
