Chris,
I have two NOS Mc70s and they are not painted. The blocks are bare metal. I have tried to take pictures of the linkage for you, but the pictures taken with my cheap camera don't show the linkage clearly. I'll keep trying or borrow another camera.

1964 Mcculloch Kart Engine Manual NO. 47838A figure 7 page 7 has two good pictures of the Mc-70 linkage. It also covers the Mc-8, Mc-9, Mc-40, Mc-45, and Mc-75.

Ron, What the heck is wrong with your eyesight...............there ain't no A on the front cover and it's a 63 model. Am I gonna have to come over there and straighten you out ????? :shock:

maybe this will help. I don't have a scanner handy and this particular manual I have is just a copy. A really nice feature of the Mc-70 is they vibrate the crap linkage and the carbs loose in a couple laps.
