please help identify

Thsi is my brothers kart. It is supposed to be a 1961 bug kart , model unknown. Does anyone know what it is? Thanks in advance.

It looks to be a late '62 or a '63 Bug Stinger with the upper main rails much shortened and the steering turned around backwards. The Stinger normally had the upper rails come down and weld to the top side of the front axle. I had a '62, and it DID NOT have the squared off seat tube. Leads me to say it's a '63. Ted
