Post by REAR » Wed Aug 02, 2017 7:26 pm

With TBO 2017 coming up fast we would like to offer up some lodging choices for you.

We would like to be as helpful to you as possible by offering a list of some of the local lodging facilities along with their contact numbers that you can use to make your lodging reservations [see below]. May we also suggest that you try one of the many on-line discount travel services such as Priceline, Trivago, Travelocity, etc. and see if they can offer you any discounted rates. Please also be reminded that it is always wise to do a web search to make sure your lodging choice is up to your standards.

If we can be of any additional help with your lodging needs please feel free to post any questions you might have and we will try our best to answer them.

Below listed is a partial list of the Fremont area motels for your reference.

Fremont Holiday Inn Express 1-877-859-5095

Hampton Inn 1-855-271 3622

Comfort Inn 1-855-973-7215

Travel Lodge 1-800-257-2297

Clyde Ohio Red Roof inn 1-419-547-6660

There's no such thing as 'too early' and we hope this information will aid you in finding your weekend lodging.

Hi Rob and Bob,
I will be staying at my cousins house. Please save my normal spot at the track. Will be there Friday morning unless I need to arrive Thurs. evening. Let me know. Trying to get the little Blitz kart running today. Motor has never been apart, pretty cool.
Thanks Mike

Mike ,

No problem buddy we got you covered. Really looking forward to seeing that Blitz.

Bring something with a small Bender or a Clinton also because I hear there is going to be another small bore shoot-out.

Hi Rob,
Bringing my Simplex with westbend. The little Mac-9 on the Blitz is like new. Put in new set of points, got spark. Will leak check and clean carb. If it passes leak check I will not disassemble any farther. Don't want to ruin the original paint. I do not think the engine has ever been apart, it is amazingly nice. Plan to wipe the kart and engine with wd-40 to clean and I am cleaning the upholstery with upholstery cleaner. Don't want to destroy the originality if possible. Wish me luck.
Later Mike
