Hi guy's,
Looking for a little information as to what type of wheels are on the 1962 Blitz f-1000 kart which I just received. They look a little like go powers but are not. A couple of them need some work on the outer halves, would be nice to replace them. Just have no idea what I am looking for or who might have some. Any help would be appreciated. I will take and post wheel pictures if needed.
Thanks Mike see ya all at the Big One.

Well, Mike, the one in the Brown Motorsports ad in the karting magazines of '62 definitely has Series I Go Power wheels, and the ones I remember seeing back then also had GP wheels. Ted

Hi Ted,
Wheels on this kart are not go power, look similar but cutouts are not round like go power. They are sort of rectangular openings. I will take a picture of them tomorrow, maybe someone can help me identify them.
Thanks Mike

Hi Guy's
I have posted a photo of the front wheel design that is on the Blitz kart. Rears are the same, does anyone have and idea what they are. They appear to be magnesium due to corrosion on two left side outer halves. If anyone has any or info on where I could get a couple I would really appreciate it.
Thanks Mike

Hi, Mike. Those are Tab Loc wheels. Aftermarket for Blitz. Standard on late Tornado kart and some mini bikes. Ted

Thanks Ted,
Any idea who might have some outer halves or whole wheels. The outers on the left are corroded pretty bad, must have set against a damp wall or something. I can probably fix them with some filler but would rather have nice ones to restore the kart with powder coating etc.
