Clutch Shoe Questions

Post by Dan Flanders » Fri Feb 22, 2008 1:20 am

OK, I was sorting through a box of unidentified Rev-Grip clutch parts trying to figure out what is what.

I have two types of shoes, the stock plain-jane Rev-Grip and what appears to be a set of lighter after market shoes. Can anyone ID the manufacturer of the after market shoes and give me an idea of the approximate engagement rpm.

Also, the steel Burco shoes have X channels cut in them. What was the purpose of the cut? Did the channels help carry oil or ?

Thanks,
Dan
