Kevin,

Great story, Thanks for sharing the article.

If any body has more of these types of history lessons, please feel free to post them.

Have read other articles where Go-Kart went into bankruptcy and Fox was able to use or acquired the Go-Kart name free of charge. Guess we'll never know for sure.

I was actually an Alsport dealer when they came to an end. I can also remember in 1960 my cousin only ran Steen C in his Mac 10's. It had a very different smell.

Pop and I actually sold Steen C in our kart shop in West Melbourne, FL. Wyatt Enterprises, in Cocoa, about 25 miles from us, sold it too. My pal, Charlie Craibe, worked for Wyatt. He still has his Steen Tee shirt, the one where the Steen's is pouring down the front and is coming back out in the back. I didn't like Steen's. I roasted a couple of open Mac 6's and 10's using it. We quickly went back to Blendzall. Like Steve says, it had a very distinctive smell.
